He said, the society had monitored events during and after the run-off elections and was not pleased with the rising tension between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over allegations of misconduct’s.
Mr Tetteh said this in an interview with the Daily Graphic yesterday. He added that the Electoral Commission had the responsibility to calm down tension by ensuring that results are "free and fair".
He also called on the Peace Council, the media and all Ghanaians to ensure that there is calm and peace after the declaration of the results.
