Is there Professionalism in our league?

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) might be enjoying and feeling much fulfilled after receiving a whooping GH¢ 1.7 million television right sponsorship for the league from Optimum Media Prime (OMP).
Already, many football lovers and lovers of Ghanaian football are watching with interest the league on channel 209 on DSTV's supersport.
This deal alone for me will not only bring professionalism in to our football but will also make us learn from other great leagues out there.
The Ghanaian league has recently been packed with famous and well known football clubs in the world. We have the likes of Chelsea, Arsenals and the likes all in our league. These famous clubs that have been localised into Bechem Chelsea and Berekum Arsenal respectively among other is for me worry.
This may be a marketing strategy to give the club a sound popularity but even if it is so, there are questions to be asked.
Now, we have the luxury of being watched by Africa and the world. What is the Professional League Board (PLB) and the GFA going to do about the jerseys of these teams?, and Isn't it ridiculous for the handles of the league to use Coca-Cola Championship ball for a league march? Is Africa and the world going to be happy to see teams like Bechem Chelsea and Berekum Arsenal show lack of professionalism by wear sub-standard jerseys of other teams ?
What happened to the warning that all clubs boldly write the names of their players at the back of their jerseys for proper identification? Why did a team like Sporting Mirren ignored this instruction when they played Liberty Professionals in the league recently.
The Ghanaian league for a very long time suffered a deficiency with support base. Filling the stadiums have become every clubs headache which can be partly blamed on teams and the PLB.
The teams on their part lack creativity and the will to change the attitudes of supporters. For instance, why should a team like liberty professional fail to boost of even ten thousand registered supporters.
Liberty is located in Dansoman and has done well to get a club house and a football turf. Liberty can just shake up the interest of residents and people of Dansoman if they had a good marketing team and public relation unit. Simple, go out there talk to the people, reduce the fare of tickets to watch football, do promotions at vicinity and see if change can not occur. And that goes to all the clubs.
Shame was the least that could be said about the liberty and Mirren game that was shown on Metro TV and on DSTV. The match was said to have received the lowest turnout in the league, which is even incorrect because there are worse cases of low patronage.
The supporters didn't turn up and players lost the jell to make the match interesting.
The premiership and the La liga is not the best in the would because of the stars but because of the supporters each team command. They are tactically good and every team has a fair ground to win a match compared to ours where players just balloon the ball when they are tired. The pace is too slow and there is no pattern of play.
The PLB and all stakeholders of our league should do something fast before we are ridiculed.
